Supernatural (Tuesday nights, 9pm, CW)
By Paula R. Stiles

This week is “The Bad Seed” (11.03). You can check out the official synopsis, the official promo from both the CW and CHCH, a new extended season promo, and official photos. Titles so far are “Out of the Darkness, Into the Fire” (11.01), “Form and Void” (11.02), “The Bad Seed” (11.03), “Baby” (11.04), and “Thin Lizzie.”

There was a producer’s preview for 11.02 last week.

The CW has put out a new “Dare to Defy” general promo.

The synopsis for 11.05 (“Thin Lizzie”) is up. This is the first one written by new staff writer Nancy Won and is Rashaad Ernesto Green’s sophomore directing effort on the show:

JARED GERTNER GUEST STARS – Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate a series of murders at a local B&B that also happens to be Lizzie Borden’s old home. When a local man, Len (guest star Jared Gertner), tells them he saw a little girl around the B&B around the time of the murders, the brothers realize Amara (guest star Yasmeene Ball) may be responsible. Rashaad Ernesto Green directed the episode written by Nancy Won (#1105). Original airdate 11/4/2015.

They’ve started tech surveying for the first episode in January. It will be directed by Thomas Wright.

The show retained good ratings for 11.02: a 0.8/3 in the A18-49 demo and 1.85 million in audience in the finals. This still put it third for the week and for season premieres on the CW, behind The Flash and Arrow. The show that replaced it on Tuesdays, iZombie, still came in a distant fourth.

A Variety article added some more demos. The show rose a bit in A18-34, especially W18-34.

We’ll be back next week with more news, spoilers and blatantly unabashed self-promotion. Stay tuned and check out our reviews of Game of Thrones, Doctor Who, Torchwood, The Event, Once Upon a Time, Grimm and Supernatural.

About Paula R. Stiles

Paula is not at all paranoid about government conspiracies after six years in EMS, two years in Africa for the Peace Corps, a few summers with the Park Service, and ten years studying the Knights Templar. She's seen governments in action. They couldn't cover up a toy picnic table, let alone evidence of alien visitation. Writes about science for fun, history for money, and zombies for the company. You can read her sober-as-a-judge book about Templars in medieval Spain, Templar Convivencia, on Amazon. You can find her homepage at: http://thesnowleopard.net.
