Supernatural (Wednesday nights, 9pm, CW)
By Paula R. Stiles

The season is over and Hellatus has officially begun (which means not a lot of spoilers until Comic-Con, July 21-4). Season 11 continues repeating this week (still on Wednesdays for now) with 11.02 (“Form and Void”).

The show will be moving to Thursdays at 9pm after Legends of Tomorrow this fall.

Richard Speight Jr. (Gabriel/the Trickster) has announced at the All Hell Breaks Loose 7 con in Australia that he will be directing two episodes this season. It is rumored that Jensen Ackles will not direct this year.

The DVD/Blu-ray for season 11 will be out on September 6. You can find the cover art and inside details here.

There’s a new interview up with Curtis Armstrong (Metatron).

There’s also a rumor the show has a new writer in Meredith Glynn — backed up somewhat by her following the other show writers and chatting with them about scripts on Twitter.

Last week’s ratings for the season premiere repeat were a 0.2/1 and 0.77 million.

In Live+7 ratings for episode 11.22, the show doubled its A18-49 demo from 0.6 to 1.2 and rose in audience from 1.629 million to 2.729 million.

We’ll be back next week with more news, spoilers and blatantly unabashed self-promotion. Stay tuned and check out our reviews of Game of Thrones, Doctor Who, Torchwood, The Event, Once Upon a Time, Grimm and Supernatural.
