Doctor Who (Saturday nights, 9pm, BBC America)

The BBC has announced the cast for the show’s new spinoff titled Class. New actors Greg Austin, Fady Elsayed, Sophie Hopkins, and Vivian Oparah have been cast in the teen roles, with actress Katherine Kelly (The Night Manager) taking on the role of a teacher and “powerful new presence” at Coal Hill School.

Awesome news for fans of Fox’s show Lucifer (like me): The show has been renewed for a second season!

Great news for fans of NBC’s Grimm, too, as the show has been renewed for a sixth season.

The 100: The latest casualty of the show had some things to say about his departure from the show.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Spoiler TV has up the press release and promotional photos for episode 3.17.

Arrow: TV Line has up the promotional photos for the coming episode. EW has up a feature article on the show’s recent big character death. They also have an interview with the producers on why her. TV Line has up an interview and article about it as well as The Hollywood Reporter. Another comic-book-fridged female character. Lovely. While a female regular departs, a recurring male character steps in. Actor Echo Kellum has been promoted to series regular.

Ash vs the Evil Dead: Blastr has up an article on season two.

Dirk Gentry: The show has found its female lead in actress Hannah Marks (Southbound).

Fear the Walking Dead: Spoiler TV has up a collection of promotional material for the coming season.

The Flash: It was announced that actress Katie Cassidy would be making an appearance as Earth 2’s Laurel Lance, the Dark Siren.

Game of Thrones: EW has up a few tidbits on the new season. EW has up an interview with Maisie Williams.

The Magicians: Spoiler TV has up the promotional photos for the season finale.

Once Upon A Time: Executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis spoke with EW about the show’s renewal and their plans for the next season.

The Originals: Joseph Morgan spoke with TV Line about the different ladies in Klaus’ life.

Orphan Black: Tatiana Maslany gave EW a few hints about her latest clone character.

Preacher: io9 has up an article on the show.

Salem: TV Line has up the trailer for season three.

Scream: TV Line has up some details about season two.

Shadowhunters: Spoiler TV has up some photos of the cast at the recent upfronts for network Freeform. TV Line has up an interview with showrunner Ed Decter about season two.

Supergirl: Spoiler TV has up the season finale promotional photos.

The Walking Dead: There seemed to be some audience dissatisfaction about the latest season finale. The director, Greg Nicotero, defended the cliffhanger to E!Online. The website Vox broke down executive producer Scott Gimple’s defense of the cliffhanger. TV Line has up an interview with Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Scott Gimple about Negan’s entrance. Jeffrey Dean Morgan also discussed his character with EW.

The Vampire Diaries: The show has been renewed for an eighth season, but actress Kat Graham has announced that regardless if the show continues to a ninth, the eighth will be her last.

Over at E!Online, the latest Ask Ausiello has spoilers on shows Outlander, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Vampire Diaries, The Flash, and The Originals.

At TV Line, the latest Ask Ausiello has spoilers on shows Lucifer, The Walking Dead, Shadowhunters, The Originals, Fear the Walking Dead, and Outlander.

Supernatural (Wednesday nights, 9pm, CW)

The show is on mini-hiatus until April 27. So far, for the next episode, “The Chitters” (11.19), we have a CW promo, official photos and an official synopsis for it.

This week’s episode is a repeat of “The Vessel” (11.14).

Titles so far for the season are “Out of the Darkness, Into the Fire” (11.01), “Form and Void” (11.02), “The Bad Seed” (11.03), “Baby” (11.04), “Thin Lizzie” (11.05), “Our Little World” (11.06), “Plush” (11.07), “Just My Imagination” (11.08), “O Brother Where Art Thou?” (11.09), “The Devil in the Details” (11.10), “The Sound of Silence” (now “Into the Mystic” 11.11), “Don’t You Forget About Me” (11.12), “Love Hurts” (11.13), “The Vessel” (11.14), “Beyond the Mat” (11.15), “Safe House” (11.16), “Red Meat” (11.17), “Hell’s Angel” (11.18), and “The Chitters” (11.19).

Last week’s sneak peek came out late again.

Misha Collins posted a brief video of his stunt double getting thrown into a square column while wielding what looks like the Spear of Destiny (which has something pink smeared across its blade).

E!Online is reporting that a new recurring character, Lady Toni Bevell (Elizabeth Blackmore) will be introduced late this season and be in an undetermined number of episodes next season.

CW head Mark Pedowitz has renewed his contract with the network for the next few years.

Last week’s episode, “Hell’s Angel,” rose a bit to 0.7/3 and 1.75 million in audience.
