How did you become interested in writing Mythos/Lovecraftian stories?
I grew up reading H. P. Lovecraft’s stories and stories and novels inspired by his works. I even introduced my son to the Mythos and made him a big fan of them, too. It just seemed easy to write them, though moving the setting to modern times.
What was the inspiration for your story?
I worked in a local supermarket, Ukrops, and one day thought what would happen if an ‘Old One’ appeared in a busy Saturday night in a place and grew bigger and bigger, like that. Then the story wrote itself after that.
If you were a Mythos monster, deity or character, who would you be and why?
Most likely Cthulhu, since he is so popular. Or a Deep One, since I can’t swim normally.
