Innsmouth Free Press Ceases Columns, Reviews

Innsmouth Free Press has produced reviews and columns for several years, but they will cease come December 2016. Material will remain archived online.

I thank all the writers who penned pieces for us through the years, with a special thanks to Paula R. Stiles who maintained and edited the material. We wouldn’t have been able to function without her. Paula will continue to write over at her website, The Historical Meow (http://thesnowleopard.net/), including the spoilers column with Heather S. Vina and other guest columns. Please remember to send her some dollars for the tip jar.

Innsmouth Free Press books remain for sale, but I have no plans in the near-future to produce any more Innsmouth Free Press anthologies. It’s exhausting attempting to run a small press and to be honest, most of my time is going to be spent writing novels (purchase my Mexican vampire novel Certain Dark Things, yo), or co-editing with Sean Wallace at The Dark. I am also co-editing The Jewish Mexican Literary Review and involved in other projects.

Innsmouth Free Press produced a magazine, several books, and netted Paula and me a World Fantasy nomination for our anthology She Walks in Shadows. It’s pretty neat, but this squid is taking a nap. Till next time.

Thanks,

Silvia Moreno-Garcia
