Found on the Net: Portland Lovecraft Film Festival 2012

By Silvia Moreno-Garcia

This year’s H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival & CthulhuCon will be held on all three screens at the historic, newly remodeled Hollywood Theatre, May 11-13, 2012 in Portland, Oregon. The Los Angeles edition of the festival will take place September 28 and 29 in San Pedro, California.

Tickets are now on sale, with the full weekend pass priced at $45. There are also limited numbers of VIP ticket packages, which include admission, exclusive VIP reception, t-shirt, posters, and swag bags. Buy early and save some cash.

The press release I received reads: “Sigh Co. Graphics owners, Brian and Gwen Callahan have taken the reins from festival founder, Andrew Migliore. Our trial-by-fire in October 2011 was well-received and we are very excited about being back on all three screens at the Hollywood Theatre! This allows us to keep up the number of films we’d like to show, and continue the CthulhuCon portion of the program with author readings and discussion panels.”

You can also stay up-to-date on the festival’s activities by following their Facebook page. See you in Portland this May.
