Found on the Net: Cthulhu Pendants

By Silvia Moreno-Garcia

I continue my search for Lovecraftian-themed gifts in time for the holidays. This week: Noadi’s Art, an Etsy shop which offers octopus and Cthulhu jewelry. It contains items such as the “cosmic squid” (sculpted in black polymer clay with shifting swirls of green, blue, and violet mica powders. The stars are a series of Swarovski rhinestones), Cthulhu cameos (in several colours) and Cthulhu necklaces (a hand-sculpted, full-body Cthulhu pendant in black polymer clay with metallic green highlighting). Or, you might go for a tentacle choker (It’s exactly what it sounds like).

Prices vary, but hover around the $30 mark.

The items are the creation of artist and jewelry designer Sheryl Westleigh of Maine. Sheryl has a Google+ profile which offers videos showing how she makes her artwork and more fun stuff.

Shipping deadline for the first day of Chanukah is December 15. For Christmas, December 20.

Do you have other holiday items you’d like to highlight in Found on the Net? Shoot me an e-mail.
