Found on the Net: Glow-in-the Dark Cthulhu

By Silvia Moreno-Garcia

cthulhu_glowIs there something better than Cthulhu figurines? How about glow-in-the-dark Cthulhu figurines? My Little Cthulhu is releasing a limited edition, glow-in-the-dark likeness of our beloved, sleepy master. It will be available in March but can be pre-ordered now. The 8-inch vinyl doll uses the same mold as previous My Little Cthulhu dolls and comes with two pull-apart victims.

It is part of the series of cute Old Ones designed by John Kovalic, the illustrator and co-creator of world-renowned games Munchkin and Apples to Apples, and comic-book Dork Tower. All the My Little Cthulhu toys are adorable, but this new $30 figurine promises to instill “insanity in your friends and loved ones at all hours of the night.” Speaking of My Little Cthulhu, there is also a paper version of Cthulhu based on Kovalic’s design. Created by French papercraft artist Jerom, it comes in green, red or black.

If that’s not enough for you, try folding your way to a perfect Cthulhu origami.
